basketball camps and clinics

SBA is Proud to Be the Leader in Youth Basketball Camps Since 1996.

SBA youth basketball camps are committed to providing a safe, fun, and skill-focused experience for kids between the ages of 8 to 14. Under the expert care of our basketball camp coaches, kids not only learn individual, sport-oriented skills, but also develop personally and socially, learning teamwork and building character and life skills through sports.

Players will develop a wide variety of skills through station work and active drills that will challenge the players mentally and physically. There will be competitive games as well break down scenarios. There will also be some fun games that will incorporate new skills and knowledge.

Camp goals are to teach • teamwork • responsibility • respect • leadership • sportsmanship

SBA Summer Basketball camp

The Scarborough Blues are offering half-day summer basketball camp for athletes between the ages of 7 – 11 and 12 – 16 years old. Our camps are designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball in a structured, encouraging, and fun environment.

We will provide personalized instruction for all levels of players and look forward to sharing our love of the game. All training will be age and skill-specific, focusing on both the offensive (dribbling, shooting, attacking the basket) and defensive (footwork) side of the ball, and will be progressive in nature whenever possible.

Summer Basketball Camps

The SBA Summer Camp recreational program is about more than simply improving basketball skills. It’s an ideal opportunity for kids to develop personally and socially, to learn teamwork, build character and foster life skills – including responsibility, leadership, sportsmanship and respect.

SBA is proud to be a leader in youth basketball camps since 1996. Under the expert care of our basketball camp coaches, kids from age 8 to 14 enjoy a safe, fun-filled and skill-focused camp experience.

Here are some key benefits of our annual Summer Camps:

1. Personal & Social Growth

Summer Camp is a great opportunity for kids to make new friends. Being involved in an organization and playing for a team gives youth a sense of pride and builds self-esteem. Coaches and teammates are excellent sources of positive reinforcement for healthy lifestyle choices.

2. Improving Fitness

Of course, we’re all aware of the health benefits achieved from athletic activity. Our programs offer basketball training, as well as other sports activities and off-campus excursions. The skill-building activities and workout drills we offer help kids get in better shape while also improving self-discipline and increasing self-confidence.

3. Flexible Dates & Cost

We offer several options to ensure your child can attend camp. Half-day mornings and afternoons, full days, or a special rate for the full six-week program are available. The SBA wants to suit both your schedule and your wallet. Our boys and girls summer camps run July through August.

See you on the court!
