Toronto Blue Elite AAU Program
Coordinator Ben Sanders leads the Toronto Blues Elite AAU Program into it’s 2nd year, operating under the Scarborough Basketball Association umbrella. Last season the program had tremendous results and this season looks to be even stronger with more teams and the introduction of our Girl’s AAU teams. Ben has been involved in the Toronto basketball community for over 25 years, first as a University Player, then as a REP Coach and now as the Lead Assistant for the Centennial College Men’s Basketball Team. He has coached at the College level for over 10 years, coordinated/coached on the UAA Circuit (Under Armour’s Elite League) under Canada Elite, is the Coordinator of the Summer CYBL and in charge of SBA’s Summer Camps.
The Toronto Blues Elite AAU program will emphasize individual player growth and development by providing appropriate competitive experiences. The program will also provide opportunities to play in such prestigious events as the UA Futures League created by Under Armour for middle schools across North America. Last season our U14 Boys won the Consolation Championship at the UA Futures held in Kansas City, earning a top 20 ranking in North America. All teams will have a strong coaching staff that will function under the guidance of the Coordinator and one vision.
