Passionate about basketball? Looking to play at a competitive level?

SBA’s Select League is just the program for you. The Select League is geared for players who are looking to play basketball in a competitive atmosphere. This is Not a house league it’s a REP developmental program.

Each player will learn various passing, dribbling, shooting techniques, defensive footwork & conditioning. Players are given the opportunity for weekly training that reinforces key skill sets and encourage player socialization.

Each program is designed age-appropriate and the SBA’s goal is to promote cooperative training. SBA players are taught and coached by skilled basketball instructors.

All training will be age and skill-specific, focusing on both the offensive (dribbling, shooting, attacking the basket) and defensive (footwork) side of the ball, and will be progressive in nature whenever possible.

No parent/guardian can enter the gym at any time. Players must have their own basketball, water bottle, and towels (optional).

SBA follows the Return to Play – COVID-19 Guidelines as set out by the Ontario Basketball Association and all COVID-19 guidelines as per the Government of Ontario and the City of Toronto.

  • Programs run from 45 minutes up to 1 hour and 15 minutes of training.
  • All programs run for 10 weeks.
  • Your first program includes an SBA reversible jersey.

Select League Coaches

“A good coach is someone who can change the outcome of a game. A great coach is someone who can change a life for the better.”

At SBA, our coaches are committed to foster your child’s individual development, and empower each player to help them reach, and exceed, their personal expectations. Under their expert care, your child will not only learn individual, sport-oriented skills, but also develop personally and socially. Through their education process, SBA coaches instill the love for the game and teach children the value of responsibility, respect, and the importance of teamwork.
