PLAYERS MUST BE AT LISTED AGE BEFORE JANUARY 1

The SBA Blues Academy program is a comprehensive training program designed to develop young players’ basketball skills, knowledge  and competitiveness on the court.

The program includes on-court training sessions, strength and conditioning exercises, mental preparation techniques, and game play opportunities, with a focus on individual skill development, team play, and game strategy.

The ultimate goal of the program is to prepare players for success at the higher levels of rep basketball while also fostering a love for the game and promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Our mission is to provide a rep-like experience for young players by offering them the opportunity to compete against similar skilled like opponents, learn from experienced coaches, and develop skills and strategies used at the highest levels of the game.

The program’s competitive schedule typically includes games and tournaments against other teams, allowing players to test their skills against the best of the best in their division. All Academy teams will play in the Coalition League.

Our certified coaching staff strive to get the best out of each player. A component of the Academy basketball program is to offer coaches the opportunity to develop and grow their own coaching aims, objectives, and skills.

The goal in all of our programming is to be inclusive and to build on the SBA’s philosophy and aims to build character, develop friendships and have a whole lot of fun.
