ahriahna-grizzleTUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Head Coach Kristy Curry added her fourth signee to the 2019 class after Ahriahna Grizzle, a 5-9 guard from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, signed her national letter of intent on Thursday.

“Ahri brings size, leadership and strength at the guard position,” said Curry. “She brings a great competitive spirit and a high level of experience from high school and the many opportunities she’s had competing on the national stage.”

In 2018, she led her team to a JUEL Provincial Championship as the squad finished a perfect 23-0.

More recently, she was selected as a 2019 Biosteel All-Canadian member where she took part in the inaugural Canadian All-Star game for the best female basketball players across the country. In addition, she was crowned the 2019 Biosteel All-Canadian Female Three-Point Champion and was named an Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association Second Team All-Star.
